Filter line items

To filter line items, select Campaigns from the navigation menu, then click the given campaign. A list of line items will appear, which you can filter using the following options:

  • State: to filter line items by their state, from the upper tab, select one of the following options:
    • All: all line items, including upcoming, current, and ended ones.
    • Upcoming: line items that are scheduled to start but haven't begun delivering ads yet.
    • Current: line items whose period includes today's date, regardless of whether they are actually delivering impressions.
    • Ended: line items that have reached their end date or have been terminated by the user.
  • Name: to filter line items by name, enter your input in the Search by name, id field.
  • Status: to filter line items by status, select + Filters > Status, and select one or more of the following statuses:
    • Active: line items activated by users, ready for delivery and eligible to serve ads.
    • Inactive: line items set to inactive by users, not delivering ads.
    • Archived: line items set to archived by users, permanently inactive and hidden from the list.
  • Dates: to filter line items by date, select a time range from the date picker on the right.

Customize line item list

To customize a line items list, select Campaigns from the navigation menu, then click the given campaign. The line item list will appear, and you can customize it using the following options:

  • Pin columns: to pin a column, hold the pointer over the column name and click the pin icon. The pinned column will then move to the left.
  • Rearrange columns: to rearrange a column, hold the pointer over a column head and drag it to the desired location.
  • Show and hide columns: to show/hide columns on the line items list, click the column selector button located to the right of the date picker. Select the columns you want to display and deselect those you want to hide.
  • Sort line items: to sort the line items, click the column headers.
    • Click the Name column to sort the line items alphabetically.
    • Click the Status column to organize line items based on their state.
    • Click the Time column to sort the line items in either ascending order (earliest to latest) or descending order (latest to earliest). ⓘ Note: the sorting order depends on the tab used: for Current and Ended tabs, sorting is based on the end date, while for the Upcoming tab, it is based on the start date. Line items from the All tab cannot be sorted according to time.
    • Click the Budget Capping or Units Capping column to sort capping values in ascending or descending order.
    • Click the Budget Daily Capping or Units Daily Capping column to sort daily capping values in ascending or descending order.
    • Click any performance metrics column, such as Spend, Impressions, Clicks, CTR, CPM, CPC, VCR, Video complete, Viewability rate, or Viewable impressions, to sort numeric values in ascending or descending order.

Monitor KPIs

The following metrics are available for each line item in the list:

  • Clicks: the number of clicks the given line item generated.
  • CPC: the average spend to generate one click (Spend / Clicks) for the given line item.
  • CPM: the average cost to buy 1,000 impressions (Spend / Impressions * 1000) for the given line item.
  • CTR: the click-through rate the given line item generated (Clicks / Impressions * 100).
  • Impressions: the number of impressions the given line item delivered.
  • Spend: the buyer spend for the given line item.
  • VCR: the video completion rate of the given line item (the ratio of videos started to videos completed, expressed as a percentage).
  • Video complete: the number of times a video ad from the given line item was viewed entirely (100% of video duration was viewed), based on the "complete" VAST event.
  • Viewability rate: the rate at which ads from the given line item were viewable by the end user (Viewable impressions / (Viewable impressions + Not viewable impressions)).
  • Viewable impressions: the number of the given line item’s impressions considered as viewed, based on the criteria commonly used in the ad tech industry.

Monitor performance against goals

When you set goals for a campaign or line item, the line items list displays how each metric compares to its goal.

Performance status is highlighted based on the metric type:

  • Cost-based metrics (Paid eCPC, Paid eCPM): a metric is below target if its value is higher than the goal, indicated by a warning icon, and on target if its value is less than or equal to the goal, indicated by a flag icon.
  • Percentage-based metrics (CTR, Viewability, Completion): a metric is below target if its value is lower than the goal, indicated by a warning icon, and on target if its value is greater than or equal to the goal, indicated by a flag icon.

Metrics with no value are not highlighted, even if a goal is configured.

To see the configured goal (for example, Goal: CTR ≥ 1.5%) and the current status, hover over the metric value or its icon to view the tooltip.
