Monitor all campaigns and line items

Overview

The dashboard helps you monitor and manage advertising campaigns. Use it to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and edit campaign settings. The dashboard provides the following benefits:

  • Fast-loading views: access relevant KPIs quickly.
  • Flexible monitoring: view all campaigns across the account or focus on your favorites.
  • Typology categorization: organize campaigns by their specific type.

Access dashboard

To access a dashboard, follow these steps:

  1. Log into the Kamino platform
  2. From the left menu, select Campaigns > Dashboard.

The Dashboard page is divided into two sections: Guaranteed and Sponsored

Each section includes two tabs:

  • My Favorites: shows campaigns you created or marked as favorites.
  • All: shows all campaigns available on the account.

Within each Guaranteed or Sponsored dashboard, only campaigns containing the corresponding type of line items are displayed.

Edit campaigns and line items

Optimize campaigns directly from the dashboard. You can edit dates, budgets, status, pacing, and priorities.

Edit dates

You can edit start and end dates of a campaign or line items directly from a dashboard. To edit a date, in the Duration column, select a date from the date picker and click the tick icon.

Line item dates must fall within the campaign's date range. If you set a line item date outside the campaign range, the system displays an error message.

Edit budget

You can adjust a budget at either the campaign or line item level while the campaign is active. The system enforces the following rules:

  • Line item limit: a line item budget cannot be lower than the amount already spent.
  • Campaign limit: a campaign budget cannot be lower than the sum of its line item budgets.
  • Allocation: line item budgets cannot exceed the remaining campaign budget.

To edit a budget, in the Budget column, enter a new value and click the tick icon.

Remaining budget

Under each value in the Budget section, the system shows the amount not yet assigned to a line item. For example, if you allocate €100 to a campaign but only assign €50 across all its line items, the field displays €50 as the remaining amount to be allocated.

Edit status

You can update the status of either the campaign or the line items. To do that, in the Status field, select a new status.

Edit pacing

You can update the pacing of either the campaign or the line items. To do that, in the Pacing field, select a new pacing.

Edit priority

You can update the priority of either the campaign or the line items. To do that, in the Priority field, select a new priority.

Bulk edit line items

The system might take a few seconds to process the update.

Monitor KPIs

Delivery and pacing metrics

The following metrics track campaign timeline, priority, and delivery progress:

Metric Definition and calculation
Days remaining The number of days left until the scheduled end date.
Formula: End date − Current date
Duration The timeline for the campaign or line item, showing start and end dates and elapsed progression.
On Target A measurement of delivery pacing that compares budget spent to time elapsed. A value above 100% indicates delivery is ahead of the planned trend.

Formulas for active campaigns:
Standard line items: (Spent budget / Total budget) / (Elapsed days / Total days)
Fixed line items: Elapsed days / Total days

Formulas for ended campaigns:
Standard line items: Spent budget / Total budget
Fixed line items: 100%
Pacing The budget distribution setting (for example, evenly or as fast as possible).
Priority The numerical value assigned to the line item.
Status

The operational state of the campaign or line item:

  • Archived: the end date and duration are reached, and no further reporting calculations occur.
  • Ended: the campaign end date is reached.
  • Paused: the user paused the campaign.
  • Programming: the setup is in progress.
  • Review: the campaign is ready and delivering.
  • Running: the campaign is active.

Status color indicators (On Target)

The On Target metric uses color coding to indicate delivery performance thresholds:

  • Green: 90%–110%
  • Purple: Over 110%
  • Red: Under 70%
  • Yellow: 70%–89%

Performance and financial metrics

The following metrics evaluate costs, revenue, and engagement:

Metric Definition and calculation
AdSpend The total cost of delivered ads.
Budget The original amount configured during setup.
Budget consumption

The percentage of budget spent.

Formula: Ad spend / budget

CTR Click-through rate.
Formula: Clicks / Impressions
Daily pacing  Average spend based on the last 7 and 3 days.
Estimated landing budget

Estimated budget at the end of the campaign, based on last 7 and 3 days trends.

Formula: Last x days daily trend × Remaining days

Impressions The total number of ad renders.
MaxBid The maximum price per click (sponsored product campaigns only).
OnTarget delta The difference between actual spend and theoretical spend.
Formula: Ad spend − Ad spend theoric
Optin rate The percentage of spend allocated to opt-in ads.
Formula: (Optin ad spend / Ad spend) × 100
ROAS Return on ad spend.
Formula: Total revenue / Spend opt-in

Data refresh cycles

Dashboard data refreshes according to two distinct cycles:

  • End of day (EOD): Refreshes once daily at midnight. This includes attributed revenue, ROAS, and opt-in AdSpend.
  • End of hour (EOH): Refreshes every 60 minutes. This includes AdSpend, views, impressions, and clicks.

Don't use EOH AdSpend to calculate ROAS.
