Manage daily campaign operations
Overview
The Start your day page provides a single workspace to manage daily operations without switching tools. By bringing critical alerts, performance data, and direct fixes together, it helps you prioritize your morning workload and resolve issues before they affect your business.
Access
To access the Start your day page, follow these steps:
- Sign in to the Kamino platform.
- In the navigation menu, select Start your day.
The Start your day page includes the following components:
- Daily portfolio summary
- Campaign activities
- Smart optimizations
Daily portfolio summary
The daily portfolio summary provides a concise daily recap displayed each morning based on the previous day's performance. It offers a quick overview of your favorite campaigns, highlighting overnight pacing, key delivery events, and items that need attention. Direct action links let you address critical issues immediately without searching through reports.
Predictive campaign search bar
The predictive campaign search bar offers instant autocomplete by campaign ID, campaign name, or brand. When you click into the search bar, it immediately displays your recently viewed campaigns, which lets you return to previous work without typing.
Campaign activities
The Campaign activities section uses a three-column layout to track campaign milestones within a rolling seven-day window. This layout helps you spot setup gaps, verify launch readiness, and monitor closing campaigns in one place.
The section includes the following categories:
- Starting soon – incomplete: highlights upcoming campaigns that are not yet ready to launch.
- Starting soon – ready: displays fully configured campaigns that are ready for launch.
- Ending soon: tracks active campaigns that are nearing their end dates so you can monitor final delivery and confirm that they reach their target budgets.
To open a timeline centered on today's date, click View full schedule. In the schedule view, select Weeks or Months from the drop-down menu, and use the navigation arrows to change dates. You can also filter campaigns by status:
- All: displays campaigns across all statuses.
- Programming: displays campaigns that are scheduled but not running.
- Running: displays campaigns that are active.
- Paused: displays campaigns that are paused.
Smart optimizations
The Smart optimizations section highlights up to 15 prioritized recommendations for your favorite campaigns based on their RIC score. It lets you identify critical delivery and performance anomalies so you can diagnose and apply fixes directly without switching tools.
Real-time summary counters group pending recommendations into four urgency levels based on their criticality score (0 to 100):
| Level | Score range | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Critical | 66 or greater | High-urgency anomalies requiring immediate intervention (for example, severe under-delivery or imminent budget caps) |
| High | 44–65.9 | Significant issues that risk affecting campaign pacing or revenue |
| Medium | 16–43.9 | Moderate deviations or optimization opportunities |
| Low | Less than 16 | Minor findings or lower-priority adjustments |
RIC scoring formula
Recommendations are prioritized using the Reach, Impact, and Confidence (RIC) formula:
Criticality Score = Reach × Impact × Confidence × 100
The RIC formula uses three parameters to prioritize recommendations:
- Reach (0–1): relative volume of the finding compared to similar items.
-
Impact (0.25–3.0): estimated gain from the fix:
- Minimal: 0.25
- Low: 0.5
- Medium: 1.0
- High: 2.0
- Massive: 3.0
- Confidence (0–1): system certainty in the recommendation.
Recommendation cards
Each recommendation card provides the context that you need to make a decision at a glance. Cards include the following details:
- Issue type and urgency badge: highlights the anomaly category (such as Pacing, Budget, or Bid cap) and its urgency level.
- Target campaign or line item: identifies the specific entity affected.
- Estimated impact: quantifies the financial or delivery impact in euros (€).
- Diagnosis and confidence score: explains the root cause in plain language along with a confidence percentage.
- Proposed adjustment: displays the suggested parameter change (for example, €1,800 per day → €2,300 per day).
Perform direct actions
You can perform the following actions directly from each recommendation card:
- Accept: applies the complete recommendation immediately and updates the card to display the before-and-after values (for example, Budget: €1,800 per day → €2,300 per day). For keyword recommendations, all suggested keywords (up to 20) are added to the campaign at once.
- Decline: opens a dismissal dialog where you can select an optional reason, such as Handled manually or Not relevant.
- Line item link: lets you click the line item name to navigate directly to the relevant line item page.
