A channel is a video stream into which adverts are automatically inserted by the Serverside.ai system. Adverts can originate from various sources (for example, SpotX, FreeWheel, or Google), and the source must be specified as part of the channel. The default source is SpotX. Before using the Channels API, make sure you know which ad source will be used and enter it correctly via the systems service. 

Channels can be created either through the Serverside.ai front-end application or via the API. The application always uses the API to save the channel. Through the API, channels can be listed (with search functionality), created, retrieved (by ID or profile hash), updated, and deleted.
