Preview an ad
Overview
The Preview ad feature allows traffic managers to verify how a creative appears on a retailer’s website and easily capture screenshots using only the selected creatives for a given targeted context.
The feature supports both JavaScript (JS) tag and Server-to-Server (S2S) integration modes, providing flexibility across different delivery setups.
Previews are only available for running Guaranteed campaigns at the line item level.
Ad preview mechanism
To activate a preview, enter a preview token into the retailer’s search bar. This method simulates live ad delivery without relying on browser cookies, offering a straightforward and reliable preview experience.
Each preview session remains active for 5 minutes, after which the token must be re-entered to continue viewing the creative.
Viewer users can use this feature only for line items in Review status. If a line item isn't in Review, these users cannot change its status or use the feature.
Preview ad
To preview an ad, follow these steps:
- Log into the Kamino platform.
- Navigate to the edition page of your Guaranteed campaign to view the Line item table.
- Locate the line item you want to preview.
- Click the three-dot icon and select Preview ad.
- Click Copy to save the token to your clipboard.
- Open a new browser tab and go to the retailer's website.
- Paste the preview token into the search bar and press Enter.
- Navigate to the specific page or context targeted by the line item. The page displays only the creatives associated with your active preview tokens.
Troubleshooting
