Manage creatives
Overview
The Creatives page serves as a centralized hub to view, create, manage, and distribute all creative assets across your advertiser accounts. Instead of managing assets strictly within individual line items, it lets you maintain a unified creative repository and assign or reuse assets across multiple campaigns and line items.
Access
To access the Creatives page, follow these steps:
- Log in to Maestro.
- From the navigation menu, select Creatives.
The page displays all creatives associated with your company across all advertisers.
Switch between views
You can switch between two view formats using the view toggle at the top right of the list:
- Table view: displays a detailed, sortable list of all creatives.
- Tile view: displays visual cards for each creative.
Table view
The table view includes the following columns:
- Name: the creative name.
- ID: unique system identifier for the creative.
- Format: display, video, native, retail native, or script.
- Type: banner, script, VAST video, URL video, URL VAST, Native.
- Dimensions: pixel size of a creative.
- Line items: number of line items currently using this creative.
- Advertiser: the advertiser account the creative belongs to.
- Extension: the file extension.
- Created at: Date and time when the creative was created.
Sort table
You can sort the Name, ID, and Type columns alphabetically and the Created At column chronologically by clicking the column headers.
Tile view
The tile view presents creatives as visual cards that include the following:
- A thumbnail preview of a creative.
- Key details, such as creative name, format, type, and dimensions.
- A three-dot icon to edit, preview, duplicate, or assign to line items.
Filter creatives
You can filter creatives using the following options:
- Advertiser: to filter creatives by advertiser, click + Add filters and select a specific advertiser.
- Type: to filter creatives by type, click + Add filters and select from the following types: Banner, Script, VAST Video, URL Video, URL VAST, Native.
- Name: to filter creatives by name, enter your input in the Search by name or ID field.
- Creation date: to filter creatives by creation date, select a time range from the date picker on the right.
Check line item usage
The Line items column shows how many line items are currently associated with a creative:
- Multiple line items: click the counter to open a side panel listing all associated line items, including campaign names, line item IDs, and direct links to each line item.
- Single line item: click 1 to navigate directly to the line item's configuration page.
- Unassigned: an em dash (—) indicates that the creative isn’t associated with any line item.
Create creative
To add a new creative directly to the repository, follow these steps:
- At the top of the page, select New creative.
- Select the creative format: Display, Video, or Native.
- Configure the creative using the fields described below.

CSV Feed URL: provide a hosted URL pointing to a CSV file. The product data is fetched from this URL, allowing you to update the feed externally without re-uploading.
The CSV file must include the following columns: id, productUrl, imageUrl, title, description, price, and salePrice. To download a template with the required header row, click Download Blank Template.
-
Catalog API (Kamino): connect to a product catalog via the Kamino API. Select Catalog API as the product source type. Then select a catalog, enter the product IDs, and select Check Errors to validate them.
You cannot change the product source type after you create a creative. To use a different product source type, create a new creative.
You can add a maximum of 50 products.

- Multiple product carousel: showcases multiple products in a carousel layout. The carousel supports two to six products.

- If needed, add a third-party measurement code. For more information, see Create line item: third-party measurement codes.
- Select Add a creative. To save the current creative and create another one right away, enable the Add another creative checkbox before you save.
Retail Native creatives don't undergo video encoding. Instead, the product data displayed in the ad refreshes automatically based on the product source type. The system automatically excludes products with missing required fields (id, productUrl, and imageUrl) from the ad and skips empty rows in the CSV file.
Creatives can be Display, Video, or Native, but you can't mix different creative types in a single line item.
Unlike display creatives, Retail Native creatives don't have fixed dimensions. The ad adapts to the placement in which it serves. Depending on the supply partner's configuration, Retail Native creatives can serve in the following placement sizes: 120 x 600, 300 x 250, 300 x 600, 336 x 280, 728 x 90, 970 x 250.
